What is Houston Chronicle Culinary Stars?
This upscale food and wine event is a perfect pairing with the unveiling of Alison Cook’s Top 100 Restaurants Publication. The evening will feature thirty of Houston’s top restaurants where guests can sample outstanding food and enjoy wine tastings throughout the night.   Plus, you can be one of the first to know who the winners are and celebrate with the chefs.

How does Houston Chronicle Culinary Stars Work?

Two types of tickets are available:

 

General Admission  

  • Admission from 6:30 – 9:00 to a Grand Tasting event featuring fine wines and culinary treats from Houston’s top restaurants
  • Keepsake wine glass and plate
  • Alison Cook’s Top 100 Restaurants Book

 

VIP Admission

  • Admission from 5:30 – 9:00 to a Grand Tasting event featuring fine wines and culinary treats from Houston’s top restaurants
  • Keepsake VIP wine glass and plate
  • Premium Wine Selections for the first hour
  • Autographed copy of Alison Cook’s Top 100 Restaurants Book

Recipe for Success Foundation is the benefactor of Houston Chronicle Culinary Stars. Recipe for Success Foundation is a Houston based charity dedicated to combating childhood obesity by changing the way our children understand, appreciate and eat their food, and by educating and mobilizing the community to provide healthier diets for children.

What chefs/restaurants will be there?
Get Excited!! We will have fantastic food from great chefs.  Houston Chronicle Culinary Stars will feature thirty of Houston’s Top restaurants who have been on previous Alison Cook’s Top 100 Restaurant Lists. To see the full list of chefs, please visit the chefs page of the website.

When and where can I buy tickets?
Tickets can be purchased on the tickets page of the Houston Chronicle Culinary Stars website. Tickets will not be available at the door so purchase tickets early online.

How much are tickets?

Is there a limit to how many tickets I can buy?

No, there is no limit to how many tickets you can buy.

What is your lost/return/exchange policy?
Please keep your tickets safe!! If they are lost, sorry there is no refund and no replacement. If you can’t come please try to find someone to take your tickets! There are no refunds for any reason. All ticket sales are final and nonrefundable.

Are menus available in advance?
No menu items will not be available in advance.

What should I wear?
Houston Chronicle Culinary Stars is a fun upscale event and the suggested attire is downtown chic, business, or cocktail attire.

Seating is limited, but some will be provided.

Will there be security presence on site?
Yes.

What if I am too intoxicated to drive?
Please drink responsibly and designate a driver. If you are impaired, we will be glad to call transportation for you.
